Here's where you can add one of up to three professional profiles. Answer the questions and paste (or type) your resume into the Resume Text Box. You may use plain text or basic HTML. Do not include any contact or address information. We don't provide this to prospective employers until you apply for a job. See also, We Protect Your Privacy.

Professional Profile Step 1 of 3
To get here, click Add Additional Profile in the Personal Data and Profile menu of My Brainhunter.
Fill in a Descriptive Title for your profile (ex. "Senior Oracle DBA" or "Product Marketing Specialist").
Select a Job Stream from the drop-down list. To see a screen shot of the Job Stream drop-down list, click here.
Type or paste your resume in plain text or in HTML into the Resume text box. (Don't include your address or personal contact information in the resume.) To see a screen shot, click here. Click Save and Continue. Professional Profile Step 2 of 2 will open. (To learn how to use the Format Resume function, see Format Your Resume.)
At this point, our automated system scans through your resume and picks out Core Skills and Job Positions related to the Job Stream. For each skill listed, indicate how many years you've been using it or select Academic Only. In the Job Positions section, you should specify what titles you've had and for how long. Click Save and Continue to proceed. You should only enter skills and positions that you want to use in your next job. If you have 10 years of COBOL, but never want to use it again, then just leave it out of the core skills and you won't be matched to COBOL jobs.
Select Core Skills and Job Positions that match your experience. Click Save and Continue. You will be taken back to JOB SEEKERS > my brainhunter.
Now we have an excellent profile of your needs and qualifications, and can start matching you to real jobs. You can expect to start getting matches to jobs you are qualified for almost immediately. Each time we find a match, you will receive a new job match email alert.
You can select Add Additional Profile from the Personal Data and Profile menu of My Brainhunter to add up to three professional profiles to your Brainhunter Job Seeker account. The tools in the Personal Data and Profile menu also allow you to edit any aspect of your file any time you want.
