Job Description

Position Summary:

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who lives and breathes the world of Digital Marketing. The Coordinator, Digital Marketing works with the Great Canadian’s National Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Manager, Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate will oversee the company’s digital platforms and work closely with marketing team’s in each province to establish a strong digital voice and appearance for the brand. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with graphic designers to develop email templates, website and social media assets that follow the latest industry trends, best practices while ensuring brand integrity, business goals and predefined digital marketing processes are met.
  • Develop, implement, and manage engaging and personalized campaigns delivering high ROI, awareness, traffic, and revenue.
  • Write effective and compelling copy across a range of channels including landing pages, email, posts, display, paid social and search, and blogs.
  • Support the launch of email programs and paid social media initiatives.
  • Drive optimization and growth through continuous A/B testing, make recommendations and implement action plans to boost results.
  • Deliver timely reporting on email and social media metrics and KPIs; Analyze data to identify challenges, opportunities, and present actionable insights.
  • Coordinate email list pull requirements with internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee front-end and back-end website development including supervision of proper use for media library, plugins, and website themes.
  • Build responsive landing pages using Elementor or WPBakery for WordPress.
  • Work with web developers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve website problems.
  • Manage company access to social media, email, and website platforms.
  • Supervise the quality and proper upload of standard templates to email platforms for ongoing use.
  • Support the launch of rebranding initiatives and provide training to marketing teams to utilize omnichannel platforms and tools.
  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to deliver solutions for digital marketing needs.
  • Improve and execute internal processes and maintain documentation.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to meet calendar deadlines for ongoing programs.
  • Flexibility with other duties as assigned by Manager, Digital Marketing.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • Digital Marketing university degree or equivalent education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with WordPress, social media, and email marketing.
  • Experience with executing digital marketing campaigns in British Columbia or Ontario landscape.
  • Experience with mobile-responsive and adaptive design.
  • A creative mind set, attention to detail, have organizational and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and the ability to incorporate best practices and tech advances on the website, email, and social space.
  • Hands-on with HTML and email development.
  • Solid knowledge using page builder plugins such as Elementor or WPBakery.
  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development. 
  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Travel between all Great Canadian properties is required.
  • The ability to successfully obtain or maintain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB).
  • Must be able to provide three past working references.
  • Additional qualifications in web design or animation, an asset.
  • Knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop and other media editing software, an asset.
  • Ability to speak, write and read in French, an asset.
