Job Description

Wellness Coaches, the largest provider of onsite coaching services in the U.S. has 100’s of customers with 100,000’s of employees interested in our workplace nutrition counseling and related nutrition services provided by Registered Dieticians. Our organization is seeking Registered Dietitians to oversee the nutritional well-being of our clients’ employees, while also providing onsite Wellness Coaching. Wellness Coaches believes we can transform the way healthcare services are delivered, increase patient utilization and produce best-in-class outcomes, using our onsite service model. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of conducting nutrition assessments, identifying patients at risk and creating diet plans.

 

Currently, Wellness Coaches is looking for Registered Dieticians that want to be part of a large team who is in business “to do good for those in need”. You will be supported by an experienced management team that is dedicated to helping you be successful. We are looking for individuals who are interested in work in the Philadelphia area. This would require travel around the suburbs as well.  We will be responsible for insurance contract credentialing, billing, and all other necessary management and administrative functions.

 

The successful candidates should be able to analyze the effectiveness of interventions and use metrics to implement data-driven improvements. Candidates are expected to keep up with the latest nutritional research, integrating new findings into diet plans and nutritional services. The ideal applicant has experience providing nutrition education to patients and mitigating risk factors. We are looking for great communicators, critical thinkers and leaders.

 

Responsibilities can include:

  • Provide dietary services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Counsel patients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits
  • Develop nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of patient’s current health
  • Implement personalized, age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition strategies
  • Utilize in-house data platform to write reports to document patient progress
  • Promote better nutrition by speaking to groups about diet, nutrition, and the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases
  • While on-site at our clients, you will work one-on-one with employees, coaching them to improve the lifestyle behaviors that contribute to poor health (lack of exercise and fitness, poor nutrition, smoking, stress, weight management, etc.). 
  • Help employees set goals, answer questions, and provide guidance and on-going support through our proprietary coaching process.
  • Participate in on-going training in coaching methodology and psychology as part of our “best-in-class” coaching skill set development program.

Skills

  • At least two years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with data entry and data analysis
  • Strong problem solving, project management and organization skills
