We anticipate vacancies throughout the coming months, and at this time, we ask qualified and interested applicants to submit a current resume, cover letter and copies of licenses to this posting. As specific positions become available, short-listed applicants will be contacted about next steps and interviews. We will contact you when an available posting for position is advertised.
Please note: This is not a posting for a specific position. BCEHS is a unionized service and qualified internal employees must be considered before external candidates. Therefore, we may be limited in the number of external candidates we are able to consider at any time. We must also consider qualified Canadian applicants before those who do not yet hold a valid Canadian work permit.
As per the current Public Health Order, full vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment with PHSA as of October 26, 2021.
This advertisement is not a formal job posting. Individual vacancies will be posted separately on a case by case basis and qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Should you wish to submit your interest and copies of your licenses to this advertisement, we will reach out with specific posting details should we be able to explore external applicants.
Individual vacancies will be posted for two weeks. Applications will be reviewed and formal interviews with short-listed candidates will be held via video conference. After the assessments, candidates will be required to successfully complete our criminal record check and a pre-hire medical and physical capacity assessment.
