Job Description

Chances Maple Ridge is currently seeking a new member to join our Maintenance Team! We are on the look out for a diligent Maintenance Technician that keeps service excellence top of mind. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for working with your hands, and the drive to solve mechanical problems. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting of facilities for safety hazards; repairing and maintaining as necessary
  • Maintaining and repairing equipment, property, and general building and preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining HVAC systems, including inspections, repairs, tests, etc.
  • Removing and replacing expired lighting and other equipment throughout the interior and exterior of the facility
  • Pressure Washing Exterior of Facility
  • Completing all work orders, as assigned
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional guest service at all points of contact
  • Communicate effectively with management at all levels
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed


  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role required
  • A good working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, general facility repairs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Possess a valid drivers license
  • Availability to work all shifts including graveyards, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced, busy environment
  • Must have a commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
  • Serving It Right certificate required

  • The ability to successfully pass a criminal and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
