Job Description

Position Summary:

 

Under the direction of the Application Architect, this position is responsible for maintaining and ensuring application systems operate in accordance with functional design specifications through systematic and defined activities and processes while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provides 2nd and 3rd level technical support for designated applications including associated technical troubleshooting, analysis and research.
  • Works closely with end users, vendors and technical teams on troubleshooting and issues resolution activities.
  • Administers systems and applications including security and performs associated reconciliation and validation to ensure compliance.
  • Monitors application performance, stability and licensing compliance.
  • Assists in the review and modeling of business processes and requirements gathering as needed
  • Develops and manages testing plans and performs application testing as required
  • Creates/updates technical documentation to ensure it is current and accurate.
  • Identification of opportunities and proposal of solutions for continuous improvement
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education in information systems or suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office.
  • Understanding of systems and Game Management systems (GMS) is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of application and systems support experience.
