View Royal Casino, soon to be Elements Casino Victoria is currently looking for a hands-on professional Maintenance Engineer, that keeps our value, Service Excellence, top of mind! The Maintenance Engineer will be required to perform installations, repairs, and replacements for the entire Casino, including the new Entertainment Space and Food & Beverage outlets. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain HVAC systems, including inspections, repairs, tests, etc.
  • Maintain and repair equipment, property, and general building and preventative maintenance
  • Inspection of facilities for safety hazards; repairing and maintaining as necessary
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional guest service at all points of contact
  • Complete all work orders as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with management at all levels
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4th Class Power engineering or 5th Class Power Engineering plus Refrigeration Endorsement
  • A strong working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, general facility repairs
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel when required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to successfully obtain a  GPEB license
  • Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certificatio
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
