Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is currently seeking a new member to join our Maintenance Team. We are on the look-out for a diligent Maintenance Engineer that keeps our value, Service Excellence, top of mind!  If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for working with your hands and solving mechanical problems then becoming our next   Maintenance Engineer may be the perfect opportunity for you!


Great Canadian Casinos is seeking a new member to join our Maintenance Team located at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam. The successful candidate will be responsible for the site maintenance of the entire propeorty including the Casino and Theatre.


Key responsibilities in this position include: 

  • Maintaining life safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency power, sprinklers etc.
  • Preforming active or preventative maintenance as directed
  • Maintaining and repairing equipment, property, and general building and preventative maintenance
  • Inspecting of facilities for safety hazards; repairing and maintaining as necessary
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional guest service at all points of contact
  • Completing all work orders as assigned and communicating effectively with management and team members
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed

 Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:  

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and general facility repairs, as asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced, busy environment
  • Serving It Right certificate required, or the ability to obtain a Serving It Right certificate
