We’re on the lookout for a creative and passionate 3rd Cook to join our team! Jump on the line in one of our kitchens to create culinary fare for guests enjoying our new food & beverage offerings. Our next 3rd Cook will be responsible for the preparation of food items and maintaining all company standards through adherence to safety, hygiene policies and procedures. The culinary management team believes in an open-door policy, where all ideas and suggestions are welcome, in the continual quest for culinary fare excellence.   • Prepares, pre-cooks and/or cooks food products as directed
  • Prepares mis en place (“setting in place” of foods, garnishes, sauces, dishes, cutlery, etc) and other products as required for high volume production
  • Dishwashing
  • Cleans kitchen equipment after use according to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Receives stock, labels, dates, stores and rotates in appropriate storage areas
  • Counts inventory as directed
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.


  • High School Diploma
  • Culinary education a plus
  • Enrollment or completion of the ITA Apprentice Program a plus
  • Level 1 FoodSafe, Safe Food Handling or BASICS.fst Food Handler Certificate; WHMIS; SIR, Smart Serve or IGB Certificate
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year culinary experience
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, strong communication & organizational skills
  • Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
  • A passion for providing the Essential Elements of Excellence Guest Service to our internal and external guests
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
  • Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Serving it Right, or the ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
