Job Description
  • Various food preparation duties including line cooking.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area.
  • Supports culinary team to ensure efficient operation of all culinary operations
  • Finds ways to play; you are serious about work, without being serious
  • Chooses to make everyday a great day
  • Stays focused in order to be there
  • Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you make their day
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Applicants must be 19 years of age or above in order to eligible to work at Casino Nova Scotia

Performs other duties as assigned or directed

 

  • Embraces the Casino Nova Scotia culture and philosophy and has a playful, infectious and "all about the guest" attitude
  • 2 years culinary training or experience in a class hotel is an asset
  • Volume line cooking experience is an asset
  • Must be able to work various shifts including nights, back shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Must have excellent customer service skills with guests and co-workers
  • Must be able to lift 25kg.
