As a Count Team member you will be responsible for counting and moving cash assets from the gaming floor while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all. The countdown is on. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Counts currency and coin in the Count Room as a sorter, counter or amalgamator
  • Organizes and secures storage of count carts, drop boxes, drop buckets and bill cartridges for pulls
  • Performs cash and cash equivalent counts for all slot machines
  • Reports unsecured and suspect counterfeit cash/cash equivalents
  • Verifies and reconcile drop boxes and cash cassettes before and after counts
  • Ensure the contents of all currency cassettes are counted and recorded properly in the various electronic systems operating the Count Room.
  • Assists with the reconciliation and balancing of the vault
  • Maintains and executes regular preventative maintenance schedule for all cash handling equipment
  • Bags, bundles, wrap, transports and secures coin currency and bills as per management instructions
  • Ensures general tidiness and cleanliness of the count room
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed


  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, strong communication & organizational skills
  • Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
  • A passion for providing the Essential Elements of Excellence Guest Service to our internal and external guests
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
  • Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Serving it Right, or the ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
