Job Description

Are you in the game of providing your guests with experience that will keep them coming back? View Royal Casino, soon to be Elements Casino Victoria, is on the lookout for two passionate F&B Outlet Managers! Under the direction of the F&B Manager, these engaged Outlet Managers will use their leadership skills to drive F&B offerings and improve operational efficiencies. These positions will be responsible for our upcoming restaurant and quick service outlet.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall management and profitability of outlet operations including assisting with promotion and marketing of outlets
  • Meeting exceptional service levels for all guests through focus on team member training, performance management and leadership
  • Coaching and team member development; focus on guest service and upselling
  • Maximizing productivity through effective team member scheduling, supervision and shift work assignments
  • Performing payroll & labour costing
  • Monitoring inventories, ordering and purchasing, and maintaining accurate log books
  • Ensuring high quality food standards in conjunction with the Chef
  • Designing promotions with the management team and assisting with menu development
  • Implementing strategic operating plans with the management team and offering expertise to internal and external guests
  • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests
  • A passion for providing GEM Service to our external and internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent Supervisory experience in a similar Food and Beverage facility
  • Certificate in hospitality and/or restaurant management is an asset
  • Energetic, highly motivated and creative
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and strong computer skills
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to train and develop team members
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to obtain FoodSafe Level 1 & 2 and Serving it Right License certifications
  • The ability to successfully obtain or maintain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • Minimum 6 months employment with GCC
