Salary Range: $86,398 - $124,197 / year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.

Reporting to the Senior Leader or designate, the Leader, Clinical Education and Special Projects is an innovator, knowledge translator, facilitator and change agent accountable for developing and delivering excellence in clinical education. The scope of practice of the Leader, Clinical Education and Special Projects is broad and complex working within and across clinical programs and professions at Child Health BC to provide planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of specialized education programs/projects that contribute to the achievement of clinical area/program/Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) goals and objectives, accreditation mandates and the alignment with the Child Health BC strategic action plans. The Leader, Clinical Education and Special Projects monitors and tracks project progress according to project plan makes recommendations to the Senior Leader on changes required to facilitate a successful outcome regarding major barriers encountered.
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing or other clinical profession plus additional studies in education with a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience including two (2) years of education experience.
Strong communication, coaching and program evaluation skills are required. Knowledge of learning and evaluation models such as logic and Kirkpatrick. Superior organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and work under pressure of deadlines. Proven ability to lead staff to achieve program goals and objectives. Significant knowledge and proven experience with program development, evaluation and program management. Demonstrated ability to analyze situations, develop resolutions and support remedial action. Demonstrated self-starter with high level of motivation. Adaptable and flexible to meet changing priorities and resource constraints.</job_
