Correctional Health Services (CHS) is an integral part of British Columbia’s health care system and the newest service of BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services, an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority. We provide health services at all 10 Correctional Centres across British Columbia, located in:

 

- Chilliwack, Kamloops, Maple Ridge, Nanaimo, Oliver,

Port Coquitlam, Prince George, Surrey, Victoria 

 

Working alongside other health care experts on a supportive and inter-professional team, you will provide quality care for clients and help them live an active life during their time in custody and as they reintegrate into the community.

 

We are looking for talented RNs and RPNs to join our team at the Surrey Pretrial Services Centre, Surrey, BC to help us improve access to primary health care as well as mental health and substance use support for clients in correctional centres.

PHSA together with BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services (BCMHSUS) took on  responsibility for the delivery of health care services in BC Corrections facilities in October 2017. PHSA is mandated to improve the quality and continuity of care for clients across the province during their time in correctional facilities and as they reintegrate into the community. This will help to improve access to primary health care, as well as mental health and substance use supports, key needs that have been identified not just in BC, but internationally.

The service provider (“Brainhunter”) allows the option for you to delete your account after signing into the system. Before deletion you are advised with a warning. Your record is permanently purged / deleted from the respective site and the record will not be available in any searches. The job will have only the respective application information that you made previously.
