The Health Record Technician performs a variety of duties such as data collection: coding, abstracting, entering, and maintaining data in the databases; quantitative and qualitative analysis on client records; supports follow-up; supports quality assurance case reviews; and completes requests for client information in accordance with approved policies.
Education, Training and Experience
- Grade 12, graduate from an approved program for Health Record Technicians, plus two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
