The Provincial Health Services Authority’s Internal Temporary Staffing Services (PHSA TSS) provides opportunities for people to jump start their career within PHSA and Health Care. We are currently looking for a Health Record Technician to join our team who is available to start work immediately.

The Health Record Technician performs a variety of duties such as data collection:  coding, abstracting, entering, and maintaining data in the databases; quantitative and qualitative analysis on client records; supports follow-up; supports quality assurance case reviews; and completes requests for client information in accordance with approved policies.

 

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience

  • Grade 12, graduate from an approved program for Health Record Technicians, plus two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
