As part of the provincial mental health services continuum, BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services (BCMHSUS) provides a diverse range of specialized, "one-of-a-kind" tertiary mental health and substance use services to adults across the province. These include services located at the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital and six regional clinics, the Burnaby Centre for Mental Health & Addiction, and Heartwood Centre for Women. General Practitioner with Special Interest in Addiction
Recovery and Rehabilitation Program (Riverview grounds)
Regular Part Time between 0.10 - 0.20 FTE (1 to 2 half days/week)
The Coast Recovery and Rehabilitation Program needs a family physician experienced in working with clients who have severe and enduring mental illness, chronic medical conditions, and substance-use disorders. The Physician would work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in order to effectively plan and manage the clients through their recovery and rehabilitation.

The interested physicians should be eligible for provisional or full licensure with CPSBC. Having fellowship with the College of Family Physicians is required. Physicians with formal addiction training/qualifications would be preferred.
