Cascade Aerospace is looking for a Master Scheduler within the Planning department to manage the Integrated Operating Schedule (IOS) for all AMO operations. This role will involve scheduling management, utilizing methodologies and processes to create and maintain the IOS with Microsoft Project/ERP system. This position reports directly to the Manager of Planning.
This is a non-union position.
This position requires immediate Controlled Goods security clearance, therefore only Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Create and maintain a resource-loaded Integrated Operating Schedule (IOS);
- Conduct schedule analysis with Project Planners, Resource Managers, and Operations Managers;
- Communicate IOS status to Leadership, providing recommendations for priority decision making;
- Create, maintain, and update hangar capacity planning map;
- Maintain and update schedule management processes/work instructions;
- Other duties as required.
CORE SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills: fluent written and verbal English is mandatory
- Strong understanding of Planning/Scheduling disciplines & methodologies
- Exceptional ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced problem solving skills, including effective problem solving approaches
- Thorough understanding of Continuous Improvement programs & initiatives
- Ability to take initiative with minimum supervision
- Proven experience in risk assessments and validating assumptions
- Strong computer skills: Excel, and database programs
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Degree or diploma in Aviation or Operations Management
- Minimum 5 years' scheduling experience in heavy Maintenance & Repair Organization
- Advanced experience with MS Office Suite (MS Project, Excel), ERP and databases
- PMP-SP designation considered an asset
- Industrial Engineering training & background considered an asset
