Cascade Aerospace is looking for a dedicated Induction Planner- Temporary (6 months) who is responsible to support a new project.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects Cascade Aerospace’s culture and values.
  • Support production through efficient hangar loading, initial quoting for new programs, and assistance to the Program Leader through the completion and billing of the initial maintenance event.
    • Run hangar loading scenarios to minimize production disruption
    • Keep abreast of production activities and project status to evaluate impact to hangar loading
    • Act as a communication link on the first project between the customer, Program Leader and production team
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates and planning for new program(s).
    • Analyze customer contract and work package to determine an accurate cost estimate, the time it will take and the labour hours required
    • Estimate the material costs needed to complete the project
    • Analyze the customer's budget and ensure it is acceptable to the company
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to the customers regarding future programs, set the program standards through participation in the initial maintenance event and ensure program needs are met.
    • Interface with the customer as required gaining a complete understanding of all the customer requirement
    • Present the check package to the customer, justify costs and time allocations assigned and make revisions if needed
  • Participate in the financial aspects of the customer’s initial maintenance visit.
    • Bill customers for the first maintenance event and ensure all billing information is reviewed and accurate
  • Other duties as required.

CORE SKILLS      

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Projects is mandatory
  • Ability to coordinate several projects/assignments at one time
  • Intermediate ability to use Word, Excel, Access and database programs
  • Good Project Management, Interpersonal and Technical Skills
  • Good Customer Service Skills

 TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance (Approved by TCA) or Engineering Technician Diploma
  • 5+ years' experience planning maintenance on transport category aircraft.
