Joining Cascade means a future with a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic specialty aerospace and defense company with a standard of providing customers with quality services and products. The Technical Services Representative (TSR) is responsible for supporting the design and liaison of electrical/avionics jobs related to modification design.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Liaise with the Engineering, Maintenance, suppliers and customers pertaining to the issues and concerns of Avionics/Electrical integration on prototype aircraft.
  • Generate wiring diagrams, harness assembly drawings, and part list in accordance with the system schematics
  • Generate and interpret Engineering Task Cards related to the modifications.
  • Provide technical supports to maintenance staff for the avionics/electrical installation on aircraft.
  • Conduct technical investigations to find the cause of avionics/electrical system integration issues, and report to Engineering.
  • Evaluate discrepancies between design and prototype aircraft configuration, and assist Engineering for design change.
  • Liaise with and support Maintenance for ground test, EMI/EMC test and flight test.
  • Liaise with manufacturers/suppliers for avionics/electrical parts/equipment procurement.
  • Provide technical liaison for work being accomplished by outside agencies. 
  • Perform other duties as required.

CORE SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of standard practice of Avionics/Electrical installation.
  • Knowledge of modifications process on prototype aircraft.
  • Knowledge of modern aircraft avionics systems.
  • Knowledge of using AutoCAD to produce electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:    

  • Diploma in Electrical/Avionics Technology.

Experience:              

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in aircraft electrical/avionics modification design.
  • AME experience is preferred.
