Candidates are invited to apply to the Manager, Home Care Applications. This role has the option of being a remote opportunity.

 

Reporting to the Vice President, Information Technology, the Manager, Home Care Applications, is responsible to manage the home care application management team, the Procura application, the Health Partner Gateway, and Procura integrations with other core systems, as well as the vendor relationship with AlayaCare.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage a team of business systems analyst who provide system administration and software technical support to application users, respond to help desk tickets, and support release testing and implementation activities;
  • Manage the product release management process including release note review, release planning, testing, and implementation across Procura Core Scheduler and the Procura Mobile and Clinical Care mobile apps;
  • Collaborate with the ParaMed business transformation team and the operations teams to drive strategic product management initiatives to ensure the Procura application meets the needs of the business;
  • Manage Extendicare’s relationship with AlayaCare and other home care application partners, including roadmap alignment, contract negotiations, and SLA compliance management;
  • Model innovative, creative thinking and behavior at all levels of the organization to constantly seek ways to improve services and to challenge the status quo;
  • Build and maintain professional partnerships with internal business partners and support teams, that are characterized by shared responsibility and success, open communication and transparency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience; experience in the healthcare sector and/or application management preferred; experience with Procura application is an asset;
  • Proven analytical, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills with the ability to operate at a strategic level to develop and achieve shared goals and organizational objectives;
  • Collaborative style enables ability to work well with people at all levels of an organization and brings a humble yet compelling approach to leadership;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a results-oriented management style;
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and ability to recognize and respond to changing industry trends and priorities;
  • Occasional business travel.
