Work with Purpose

It would be enough if this opportunity were only about advancing BC Cancer’s vision of a world free from cancer. But this is more: it’s about being part of the team responsible for the strategy, planning, and delivery of B.C.’s 10-year Cancer Action Plan. We are an extraordinary team applying leading practices in project and change management, engagement, and transformation. It’s about you bringing skill, creativity, and drive – to work alongside some of the world’s best providers and researchers to transform cancer care. It’s about making a real difference to the one in two British Columbians whose lives are touched by cancer.

This role will lead the planning and delivery of initiatives that enable system-level transformation in cancer care, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and measurable outcomes.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced project manager who brings:
• Strength in driving system-level projects: planning, implementing, and evaluating complex initiatives that advance provincial priorities in cancer care.
• Applied change management: supporting patients, staff, and internal and external partners through change — meeting people where they are and helping them succeed through transformation.
• Excellence in collaboration: working with internal and external partners across BC Cancer and the province to design, coordinate, and implement initiatives that improve outcomes across the care journey.
• Analytical agility and creative problem-solving: applying strong organizational and analytical acumen to develop tools, processes, and reports that help teams plan and deliver effectively within complex and evolving environments.

Together, we will take on the challenge — and make an impact that matters.
