What you’ll do
We are seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to transform data into actionable insights that drive donor engagement and organizational performance. In this role, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that fuel fundraising innovation, strengthen digital strategies, and empower teams across the organization to make data driven decisions. By combining advanced analytics, data modelling, and governance, you’ll play a pivotal part in supporting data-informed decision-making across fundraising and operational strategies.
More specifically, you will:
- Analyze donor data using advanced statistical techniques (clustering, forecasting) to uncover actionable insights.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests to optimize fundraising campaigns and donor journeys.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing and cross-functional teams to operationalize analytics and measure campaign performance.
- Advise stakeholders on KPIs, ensuring alignment with evolving fundraising strategies and supporting monitoring processes.
- Enhance data quality and governance by preparing data, improving models, establishing standards, and collaborating with business units to ensure accuracy and readiness for future analytics use cases.
- Identify emerging philanthropic trends and prospect intelligence to support long-term organizational goals.
- Explore innovative tools (AI, automation) to improve efficiency and drive advanced analytics initiatives.
What you bring
We understand that no single candidate will perfectly meet all the qualifications outlined for this job posting. The following highlights the qualifications we consider important:
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related data analytics field, complemented by 4+ years of experience in advanced data analytics.
- Understanding of A/B testing, forecasting, and advanced statistical analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in the use of databases and cloud environments (e.g. Snowflake).
- Ability to accurately complete complex data querying (SQL).
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Python, R).
- Proactive, solutions oriented with a drive to identify, research, and troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to present work and findings to technical and non-technical audiences including executive management.
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment by adapting and modifying priorities, work requests and scopes.
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Experience with predictive modeling/machine learning and interest in the non-profit sector preferred.

The hiring range for this position is between $72,750 and $85,580. At BCCHF, we are committed to ensuring that compensation is fair and equitable. Your placement in the salary range will be determined by your experience, relevant skills, and qualifications as they relate to this role.
Please note that all team members of BCCHF are required to complete vulnerable sector criminal record check as a condition of employment.
