Job Summary

Term: 1-year position, with the possibility of renewal

 

A leading academic research lab at the Genomic Sciences Centre is seeking a motivated and skilled Post-Doctoral Fellow to join its team This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful research focused on improving healthcare access, efficiency, equity, and evidence generation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support health economic and regulatory science projects, including those focused on precision medicine and rare or life-threatening diseases
  • Apply mixed methods approaches, including cost-effectiveness analysis, discrete choice experiments, and causal inference
  • Contribute to policy-relevant research and manuscript development
  • Engage in data analysis, interpretation, and knowledge translation

 

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Health Economics, Economics, Health Policy, Health Services Research, Statistics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent, applied research
  • Strong analytic background in quantitative or qualitative methods
  • Experience with administrative data and/or stated preference methods
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with a publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, Python)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
