• Successful completion of Year II from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Educational Program.
• Certification in NRP (Child/Women’s Health Program) preferred.  Completion of orientation program appropriate to the area of employment, e.g. Child/Women’s Health Program, Outlet Testing and Repair Program.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates competent in an Aboriginal language and/or knowledge in Aboriginal customs, beliefs, and practices.

This position is subject to a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.  The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. 

Duties:

Under the general supervision of the Manager or Therapist, the incumbent is responsible for providing technical, diagnostic and therapeutic support to the licensed respiratory therapist consistent with discipline standards and the practice setting.
