Do you have a passion for skiing or snowboarding that you want to share with others?  If so, then we want to see you here for the Winter Season of 2010/2011.  If you have previous experience teaching and have obtained at least a level II certification through AASI or PSIA, then we want to give you the opportunity to teach, learn, and train with us.

The Ski & Ride School at Winter Park Resort is currently accepting applications for full-time and part-time Ski and Ride Instructors for the 2010-2011 winter season in our Adult and Kids programs.  Instructors are primarily responsible for teaching beginner to experienced skiing or snow boarding lessons to the guests of Winter Park Resort. This may include class lessons, private lessons, and special programs as assigned. Lessons are taught with methods designed by the Winter Park Ski & Ride School using the Guest Centered Teaching model, with an emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction. 

Requirements:

Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Must have previous professional teaching experience.

Must have at least a PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) or AASI (American Association of Snowboard Instructors) level II certification.

Applicants must also have a passion for the sports and a friendly, outgoing personality.

Wage range for this position will be discussed at time of interview and dependant on experience.

Bilingual applicants (especially those fluent in Spanish and Portuguese) are highly desirable.
