Core Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Rotating shifts will be required depending on the business needs)

Overall Accountabilities:

As a senior member of a client service team, you will be the liaison between IFDS and the advisor/dealer community on behalf of our Fund Company clients.  The candidate is responsible for responding to inquiries from advisors and dealers and providing account and fund information and trade details. The candidate will also conduct outgoing phone calls to broker/dealers for trade requests that are not received in good order, and resolve problems daily. Other duties may include the review and signoff of a variety of reports and special projects as assigned.

 

General Role

& Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the high quality processing of Dealer transactions and set-ups, and the distribution and collection of Dealer Agreements
  • Responsible for supporting the TA fund company client teams in operational and Dealer service issues
  • Act as a central resource for the dealer community to ensure that they are prepared to effectively transact business with our clients.
  • Responsible for the high quality processing of Rep transactions and set up
  • Responding to incoming telephone inquires from Dealers
  • Process selected Dealer and Rep transactions on iFast
  • Maintain workflow efficiency and quality within the Dealer Services Team
  • Liase with Unit Managers to ensure swift and timely resolutions to Dealer issues
  • Responsible for supporting the Dealer community within the Transfer Agency client relationships
  • Research problems and document resolutions

Important

  • Post Secondary Education in Finance
  • Sound knowledge of Mutual Funds accompanied by 2 years’ experience in the Mutual Fund Industry
  • Enrollment or completion of the IFIC
  • Strong knowledge of FundSERV and dealer processes
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Bilingual French/English is a strong asset
