This program offers unpaid work experience opportunities in the Toronto Public Service for Torontonians who meet eligibility requirements.
To be eligible for unpaid work experience opportunities through the Job Incentive Program, interested candidates must be in receipt of OW (Ontario Works) or ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program) and living in Toronto. Unemployed or underemployed Toronto residents who meet additional eligibility requirements may also be eligible to apply.
If you would like to apply for an unpaid work experience opportunity, please visit your local Employment Centre with Employment and Social Services and speak to one of our Career and Employment Information Specialists. They will confirm your eligibility to apply and provide guidance on how to complete the registration process including the submission of your resume and cover letter. Upon application, your skills, knowledge and experience will be matched against the opportunities that you applied for. You will only be contacted if it is determined that you meet the qualifications necessary to move forward in the process.
