Through its strategic design and delivery of clinical information systems, Manitoba eHealth is working toward creating an Electronic Health Record that will benefit patients and health care.</span></span></p>

The incumbent is assigned the highest-level system administrator rights and oversees application administration for the applications overall. The incumbent will be the primary liaison with the sites/programs for the supported system, and Manitoba eHealth.</span></span></p>

<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">- Successful completion of a university degree or community college diploma program in computer sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. <br />- Minimum of two years experience in a health care setting with a focus on health information management, or supporting clinical or electronic health record systems. <br />- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with various health related software, application administration, data management. <br />- Training in Crystal or Cognos Reports, and Database Administration is an asset. <br />- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. <br />- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with end-users, Manitoba eHealth staff, health professionals and external contacts.<br />- Strong oral and written communication skills.<br />- Presentation and instructional skills.<br />- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize demands to meet deadlines and achieve defined customer service levels.<br />- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Sharepoint and Office Suite.<br />- Personal Motor Vehicle is required. </span></span></p>

<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px">Directly accountable to the Manager of Patient/Resident Care, the Health Care Aide (HCA) acts as a member of the health care team, assisting with patient/resident care and providing basic supportive care as directed.</p>

<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px">-Grade XII or equivalent</p>
<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px">-Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institution</p>
<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px">-Experience in a relevant clinical area preferred</p>
<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px">-Demonstrates knowledge of, and support for Health Care Aide practice including basic principles of the techniques and procedures of patient/resident care related to activities of daily living; non violent crisis intervention; roles and responsibilities of members of the health care team; principles of personal care/rehab care/dementia care/chronic care</p>
<p style="margin:0px;padding:0px">-Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload; to recognize and pursue self development opportunities; to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands; to perform as a team member and seek assistance as necessary</p>
